'Chiang Mai Beach Festival' is a brand new and highly anticipated event taking place the weekend before Songkran. The venue is a natural preserved area located just 7 minutes outside Chiang Mai on the beautiful shore of Lake Huey Tueng Tao; the perfect spot to blend nature with culture at this unique event. In the day, it's a cultural extravaganza as visitors can enjoy workshops, art exhibitions and traditional performances.
At night, the area transforms into one huge party as live bands play and DJ's rev up the sound system to get everyone in the party mood! With international DJ's, famous local Thai bands and an eclectic mix of talented live performance artistes, from reggae to world house music, festival lovers will be in their element.
Weekend camping is also available for those who 'don't want to miss a thing!' Rumored to attract up to 5,000 people a day, the event promises to be an entertainment spectacle that's the perfect warm up to Songkran !
